Summary Position
Elon University is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as an assistant athletic trainer. This position will oversee assigned sport programs to provide athletic training services to all assigned student-athletes. Successful candidate will have NATA board certification and be eligible for North Carolina State Licensure.

BS/BA required masters preferred.

General Purpose of Position
Assistant will work with the staff of athletic trainers to provide health care to approximately 400 student athletes in 17 sports. This position will work with assigned teams. Demonstrate a commitment to NCAA rules compliance and adherence to NCAA regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include coverage of practice and games of assigned sports, including travel, daily treatments and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, referral to health care professionals, and other administrative duties.

Education and Experience
