Job Description Summary
The Quaker Fellow in Athletic Administration is a one year opportunity and reports to the Senior Director of Administration.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Assists Athletic Director, Executive Team, and select departmental programs with administrative support and project work, thus supporting AD's strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Acts as main liaison for the management of the centralized Penn Athletics & Recreation Internship Program .
    • Coordinates the external recruitment, selection, and evaluation of approximately 50 divisional interns each semester (Fall, Spring, Summer)
    • Works closely with coaches and staff to identify internship opportunities and develop meaningful roles throughout the division
    • Provides onboarding and orientation support as well as ongoing feedback and professional development programming to interns
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience within an intercollegiate athletics department preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Possesses working knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms, including Outlook, Word, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to professionally collaborate with a diverse group of coaches, staff, and students-athletes.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and independently execute tasks on a deadline.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule(nights/weekends /holidays) as needed
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
