The Women's Head Basketball Coach is a full-time, 12-month, position and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the UVI Women's basketball program within the guidelines set forth by UVI, the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

As the Women's Head Basketball Coach/PE instructor, the position will provide teaching in health and physical education that are part of the general education requirement for all students. The successful candidate should possess the skills or ability to work with the School of Education in meeting Professional Standards in Health Education as required by its accrediting body. This position will be in the School of Education and teach up to six (6) credit hours per semester, reporting to the Dean of School of Education for teaching duties, with oversight by the Athletic Director for the coaching duties.
