Athletics Enrollment and Recruitment Coordinator

St. Thomas Aquinas College is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Athletics Enrollment & Recruitment Coordinator to support the recruitment and enrollment of student-athletes across its NCAA Division II athletic programs.

The Coordinator provides administrative and coordination support to the Athletics Department and works closely with Admissions, Financial Aid, and other campus offices to help guide prospective student-athletes through the application and enrollment process. Training and ongoing support will be provided. The position primarily follows standard business hours, with some flexibility during peak recruitment periods. This newly created role may be full-time or part-time.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Support coaches with recruitment and enrollment for athletic programs.

Track prospective student-athletes from inquiry through enrollment.

Respond to routine questions from prospective student-athletes and families.

Support recruitment events, including campus visits and information sessions.

Assist Admissions and Financial Aid with applications, deposits, and onboarding.

Help incoming student-athletes with housing, orientation, and registration steps.

Maintain accurate recruitment records and update student databases.

Track deadlines, follow-ups, and assist with basic reports and administrative tasks.

Support eligibility/compliance documentation and basic budget or fundraising tracking as needed.

Collaborate with Athletics, Admissions, Financial Aid, and Student Affairs to support inclusive recruitment practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required.
No prior professional experience required; internships, campus employment, or volunteer experience are welcome.
Ability to work well with others and take direction.
Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative office environment.
Commitment to the mission and values of a small liberal arts college.

Salary:

The salary for this position is $62,354. If the position is filled on a part-time basis, the salary will be prorated accordingly. The provided rate reflects the College's good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of posting.
